While we won't be hosting any wedding events on Thurs, we encourage guests to arrive early! Here's what's happening:

July 4th Festivities at Hotel

The hotel will be hosting July 4th activities, including a viewing of local fireworks over the Choptank River!

We will share more details on happenings at hotel as they emerge.

Bridal Mehndi

The bride will be having her mehndi done (location to be confirmed). Come swing by and say hello!

What is Mehndi?

Mehndi—or mehendi or henna—is an ancient form of body art, originating in India and across South Asia and the Middle East. Mehndi is a pre-wedding tradition where the bride has a red-orange mehndi "stain" applied to her palms, the back of her hands, and her feet. Indian Wedding tradition calls for a Mehndi ceremony to be held before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage.

A Mehndi artist will also be available for guests during the Sangeet Party held on Friday.

What's a Sangeet?

The Sangeet is an essential component of Indian weddings and serves as a prelude to the big day. The word "Sangeet" means music and its a time for for dancing, music, speeches, and casual connections with friends and family!
